"Edith L. Bollinger, 101, of Weatherly, formerly of 380 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, died Tuesday in Palmerton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francis Bollinger.
Born in Mahoning Township, she was a daughter of the late George and Augusta (Green) Reinhart.
She received a commendation from the city of Palmerton on her 100th birthday.
She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Aquashicola.
She was the first president of the Cherryville Fire Co. Auxiliary.
Survivors: Daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Hook of Palmerton; sons, Malcolm of Palmerton and Peter of Danielsville; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
