Lucille Imogene Bruce, age 91, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, formally of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away at 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

She was born September 22, 1921, in Lawrence County, Missouri, the daughter of Dee and Mary (Call) Cameron. Imogene was a 1939 graduate of Miller High School and a seamstress for Grindstaff Cleaners in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was a very active member of the Salvation Army.

On July 8, 1961, she married L.A. Bruce in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and he preceded her death in 1985.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister, Marie Morgan of Miller, Missouri; her half-brother, Sammy Cameron of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; six nieces and two nephews.

Her parents, and three brothers, Roy, Merle and Bill Cameron also preceded her in death.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, in the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller, Missouri. A private burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at the Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Online condolences may be shared at this website.
