Mrs. Ruth Milstead Barrett of Memphis, formerly of Fayetteville, died Thursday in Methodist Hospital in Memphis after a long illness. She was 62.
Services were Sunday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home, with Dr. Michael Davis officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Barrett was the daughter of the late James Robert and Pearl McGee Milstead. While residing in Fayetteville, she was employed by Blue Ridge Shirt Manufacturing Co.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Barrett, of Memphis; a step-son, Charles LeMar of Southhaven, Mississippi; a sister, Mrs. Flossie Barr of Tullahoma; and a brother, George Milstead, Fayetteville.
