Marjorie (Norgaard)Holloway , 88, of Peoria, Arizona died on Thursday, July 5, 2012. She was born in Shelby County, Iowa to Jens Madsen Norgaard and Anna K. (Peterson) Norgaard and was one of 7 children .

Marjorie married James Leander Holloway on 6 February 1945. She moved to Phoenix in 1961 with her husband James and their 7 children.

She is preceded in death by her husband James L. Holloway. She is survived by her daughters Judy Mitchell, Connie miranda, Pam Davis, Luanne (Mike) Dickens, Marcia (Jim) Sharone, two sons-Rick (Veronica) Holloway and Jim (Karen) Holloway, 19 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.

Marjorie worked for a number of years for Safeway in their bakery department. Upon retirement, she made over 250 quilts for family and friends. Other interests included trips to Hawaii and Texas, bowling, and growing African violets and orchids. Internment is in the Resthaven Park Cemetery (West), Glendale, Arizona.
