According to his naturalization record, Daniel Buckley was born 25 Dec 1792 in Cannaway, parish Kilmurray, County Cork, Ireland, not far from the Macroom/Kilnamartyra region where the Warners lived. He married Ann Warner about 1820, and they had two daughters born in Ireland. Daniel immigrated to Boston in 1822, and his wife Ann followed soon after with her daughters. They lived behind the gun house on Fort Hill, Boston, where five more children were born. The family moved to Charlestown, Massachusetts, where he died in 1858, aged 70 years old. Daniel worked as a sawyer and laborer on the boats. Three of his sons were plumbers.

There is a family plot with a headstone at Catholic Mount Auburn, 24 East Road Right Side. Daniel Buckley also purchased Lot & Row 1 West, which may have been purchased for relatives.
