NICHOLAS "NIKKI" REED VOORHIES passed away at his home in Houston, Texas on Thursday, June 17th, 2004. Nikki was the son of Sandra Reed Bolleter and the late Clayton Joacquim "Jackie" Voorhies, the grandson of the late Odis A. and Louise Guin Reed as well as the late Dr. Clayton A. and Florence Billeaud Voorhies. He is survived by three sons; David Paul Voorhies, Nicholas Reed Voorhies, Jr., and Vernon Ryan Voorhies; two granddaughters Meghan and Lauren Voorhies. Nikki is also survived by his sister, Dr. Nedra Louise Voorhies, brother Clayton "Jay" Joacquim Voorhies, Jr., mother Sandra Reed Bolleter, step-father Vernon T. Bolleter, aunts Marie Ellen Voorhies and Nedra Reed Andrus, and many cousins and extended family. Services will be held at 1pm on Monday, June 21st at the Forest Park Funeral Home on Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas and will be officiated by Nikki's sister, Dr. Nedra Louise Voorhies. Interment will be in the Voorhies family tomb at the family plot at Saint John's Cathedral Cemetery at a later date in Lafayette, Louisiana.
