Mrs. Elizabeth C. Middleton died yesterday morning at 6 o’clock at her residence. No. 1004 Waters Avenue, after a brief illness. She was stricken with apoplexy while singing a hymn in her home about 10 o’clock Sunday night, after her return from services at the Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a member of the choir of this church. She was a native of Liberty county and 46 years of age. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. D. Seckinger and Miss Zudie Middleton of Savannah, and four sons, D. E., J. M., J. S., and Richard Middleton. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:15 o’clock from the residence. The Rev. George F. Brown, pastor of the Immanuel Baptist Church, will conduct services at the church at 3:30 o’clock. Interment will be in Bonaventure Cemetery.
