Jay was a family friend for many, many years. I always remember Jay walking everywhere. I remember stopping and asking him if he wanted a ride, once in awhile he would, but most of the time he would decline. He was headed to meet up with his old chums where he used to work or to the coffee shop. Jay was a very sincere, friendly person who always had a smile for you. I also know that he loved animals. And I believe they knew that he cared about them.
Jay was never married, so I guess they filled a void for him. May you rest in sweet eternal peace dear friend.
