HEREFORD - Alice Bessie Taylor Brazzeal, 98, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Caledonia Cemetery near El Dorado, Ark., with the Rev. Bruce Murphy and the Rev. Hugh Nelson officiating. Arrangements are by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brazzeal was born Feb. 22, 1906, in Strong, Ark., to William Jacob and Sara Annie Green Taylor. She married G. C. Brazzeal in 1925 in Caledonia, Ark., where she lived most of her life. She moved to Hereford a few years ago to be close to her daughter. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Hereford, and a Sunday school teacher for more than 70 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Evelyn; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Clara Bartlett and husband, the Rev H. Wyatt, of Hereford; a granddaughter, Nancy Thakar of Hobbs, N.M.; eight great-grandchildren, Anita Scroggins of Wolfforth, Sara Ruiz of Lubbock, Heather Hucks of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Charles Thakar, Naomi Thakar, Kevin Thakar, Emily Thakar and David Thakar, all of Hobbs, N.M.
