Revolutionary War Veteran.

Son of Aaron and Lucy (White) Chamberlain (married 1751, Falmouth, Maine)

A Saddler by Trade. In 1789 Aaron with others, purchased 1800 acres of land adjacent to Thompson's Pond, now in the town of Poland, and may have gone there to reside. On 21 Aug 1793, the 1800 acre land purchase was divided and he recieved 3 shares. In 1795 he was a resident of the Stroudwater District of Portland, in in 1798 he sold his entire land interest to General John K. Smith, then a trader at Stroudwater. At this date [1798] Aaron had a 2nd wife, Bethiah Pearson.

An honest man
