Mary "Virginia" was born Aug. 24, 1917 at St. Ann's Hospital in Cleveland, OH, the 4th of six children of Joseph & Mary (nee Hauber) Hartman. She had sisters Antoinette and Marian and brothers Joseph, Raymond & Francis.
Virginia grew up on Harland Ave. by the Lake and attended Collinwood High School.
Virginia married Domenic John Iafelice on Sep. 1, 1939 at Holy Cross Church in Euclid. She was 21 & he was 24.
She had two daughters -- Marylou and Sandy. Virginia was a homemaker and mother and did volunteer work at Charity Hospital.
She and Dom had been married 26 years and were living at 15414 Huntmere Ave. when she passed away on Feb. 27, 1963 at age 45 from breast cancer at St. Vincent Charity Hospital.
She is buried at All Soul's Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio, Sec. 26, Lot 2948, Grave 1, along with Dom who died 22 years later on Feb. 12, 1985. She was 5'7" tall with brown hair and blue eyes.
