EDNA MAE MAYFIELD
LAMAR-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday for Edna Mae Mayfield, 84, Lamar, who died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Randall Mayfield and wife Barbara, Knoxville, Tenn., and Roger Mayfield and wife Joy, Lamar; a daughter, Sandra Laws and husband Ron, Joplin; nine grandchildren; four sisters, Betty Gilmartin and husband Joe, Liberal, and Nadine Mayfield and husband Delbert, Velma Crockett and husband Bobby and Wilma Braker and husband Wayne, all of Lamar, and a brother, Gene Loewe and wife Nora Lee, Lamar.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda.
Mrs. Mayfield was born Dec. 1, 1927, to Paul and Ethel (Smith) Loewe. She was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian.
She married Charles Mayfield on June 16, 1956, in Lamar. He preceded her in death.
