Our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Sister, Conna Johnson Doxey, 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 22, 2012. She was born on June 5, 1936 to Peter Leo and Elenor Delilah Rindlisbacher Johnson in Hatch, Idaho. Conna grew up in Bancroft, Idaho and moved to Ogden, Utah as a youth. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1954.

On September 14, 1955 she married her high school sweetheart, Jack Clark Doxey, Jr. in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Conna and Jack lived in Salt Lake City briefly before settling in North Ogden, Utah. They celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary this year.

In her early years she worked for First Security Bank and then for Karl Storey. Later, Conna was an attendance secretary at North Ogden Junior High School for 17 years before retiring for her favorite position as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Conna was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served for 30 years in the Primary, in the Young Women, and as a Relief Society President. While she was serving in the Young Women's she earned her Young Women Medallion.

She was a talented pianist. She enjoyed reading and loved her friends in her book club. Exercising and swimming with friends were fond social events that she also loved. She had a unique ability to water-ski without getting her hair wet. Conna had such a great sense of humor and her stories will keep her family laughing for years.

Conna is survived by her husband; son, Michael J. (Ronda) Doxey, Hockley, Texas; daughters, Cynthia D. (Bruce) Harding, Twin Falls, Idaho; Linnae D. (Clint) Peterson, Layton; Camille D. (David) Ward, North Ogden; and Shelly D. (Ryan) Harris, North Ogden; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Pauline Hatch and Luella Watkins.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Danielle Harding; parents, sister, Beverly Boralho and brother, John Johnson.
