Memorial services are pending for Nolan "Ike" Aucoin, age 43, who passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at his residence in Carencro.
Mr. Aucoin was a native of Berwick and lived most of his life in St. Augustine, FL. He had been a resident of Carencro since 2003. He was employed with Louisiana Environmental Monitoring of Lafayette for more than eight years. Mr. Aucoin was a member of Victory Tabernacle in St. Augustine, FL.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-three years, Tammy L. Aucoin of Carencro; his dog, Anna Jean Aucoin; his mother-in-law, Ruby Jean Mullins of St. Augustine, FL; one brother, Michael Aucoin of Morgan City; and two sisters, Sally Cobbs of Berwick, LA and Bernice Higginbotham of Port Barre, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan Anthony Aucoin, Sr. and the former Anna Mae Poche, both natives of Morgan City; his father-in-law, Danny C. Mullins; his brother, James Albert Higginbotham; his nephew, David Higginbotham; and his brother-in-law, Michael Mullins.
