Evelyn Bunn Brannan, age 88, of McDonough, GA died Friday, June 15, 2007. She was born in Henry County, GA to the late Andrew Parker and Myrtice Fields Floyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband James H. (Buck) Bunn, her husband David A. Brannan, and her son James Harold Bunn Jr.

Mrs. Brannan was a member of Flippen United Methodist Church where she previously taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and family was most important in life to her.

Mrs. Brannan is survived by children, Andrew Carey (Paulette) Bunn, Sr. Locust Grove, GA, Lynda Bunn (David) Almand, McDonough, GA; Alan Paul (Leanne) Bunn, Ellijay, GA; David Carey (Jane) Brannan, Kennesaw, GA; Donald A Brannan, McDonough, GA, 7 Grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren.Evelyn was the fourth child of Andrew Parker Floyd (1884 - 1971) and Myrtice Eugenia Fields (1888 - 1972).

She married James Harold (Buck) Bunn (1916 - 1966). They also had four children.Their first born, James Harold Bunn, Jr (1940 - 1944) was killed when a train hit the truck he was riding in. Also killed were his paternal grandfather, Paul Bunn, and two children of Paul Bunn, 2-year-old June Bunn,and Randy Bunn,four-years-old, as was Harold.

Their other children are: Andrew Carey Bunn (1942), Lynda Diane Bunn Almond (1943), and Alan Paul Bunn (1951).

After the death of Buck, from a heart attack, Evelyn married widower David A. Brannon (1919 - 2005). She outlived him and died two years later.

Everyone loved Evelyn. She was charismatic and she had a very strong faith in God, which undoubtedly brought her through the tragedy of losing her small child and burying two husbands.
