Entered into Eternal Rest Sunday, March 9, 1980. Mrs. Gerry Duncan. Services for Mrs. Gerry Duncan, 47, of 731 North Kickapoo, are set for 2 p.m. today in Roesch Funeral Chapel with Bill Yardie officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Duncan died Sunday in a local hospital. Born February 27, 1933 in Sayre, she moved to Shawnee with her parents in 1934. Mrs. Duncan was a waitress for George Snider and Bob McGowan. She was preceded in death by one daughter and her mother. Mrs. Duncan was a member of Oklahoma Avenue Baptist Church; and the VFW Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, James D. Duncan, of the home; one son, Dwayne Lamirand of Dickson, Tenn; three stepsons, Gerold Duncan, Wanette; Dwayne Duncan, Shawnee;Don Duncan of the home; one stepdaughter, Chiquita Duncan, Ada; her father R.H.McCraw, 426 S. Pennsylvania; two brothers, Charles McCraw, Antioch, California; Harold McCraw, Tecumseh; six sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Hall, 433 S. Minnesota; Mrs. Betty Morgan, 321 S. Minnesota; Mrs. Lydia Mae Malsbury, Route 5; Mrs. Betty Morgan, 321 S. Minnesota; Mrs. Virgina Harris, 216 N. Aydelotte; Mrs. Carlita Moon, Copperas Cove, TX; Mrs. Abby Maxwell, Harvey, LA; and two grandchildren.
Geraldine's death certificate reflects the cause of death as Peritonitis as a result of Disruption of the Iljunelilial Suture Line? after a surgical procedure. MD of Record was Frank H. Howard, MD of 2801 North Saratoga, Shawnee, OK 74801.

Gravesite Details
Not sure why Gerry's first name on her headstone is spelled as 'Romona'. I have in my collection her death certificate where it is spelled 'Ramona'.
