She married William Wallace Holmes, Jr. on Dec. 8, 1924 and from this union they had 8 children.

Sons: Don Wallace (Norma), Lyle "Whitey" ("Bunny"), Duane W "Duke" (Gaila), Mac (Marion), Glade (Darlene), and Glenn Milton.

Daughters: Barbara Jo (Paul) Caldwell and Lorraine (Earl) Slaugh.
