Audrey Efrid was the child of Carl Efird (C. E.) Whitener and Lula Abernethy. The father's name was a mistake on the death certificate.
Carl and Lula were married in 1905 and Audrey was born the following year. Carl died at 20 years of age and Lula married again to Autus Marvin Weaver.
