Dewey Hobson Hogue was one of eight children born to Francis Lincoln Hogue and Gertrude Rippeto Hogue, in later life he was a farmer, carpenter, construction worker. Dewey served his country during WWI by serving in the US Army.
In 1935 he married Luzetta Catherine Splawn, Nov 18, 1879 -Sep 15, 1967.
At the time of his death he was survived by 2 brothers Charles and John Hogue, and three sisters, Annis McQuitty, Hazel Young and Muriel Dale.
He was preceeded in death by his wife, parents and 2 brothers Clifton M. and Cecil F. Hogue.
