Lillian C. Kloster was born June 18,1901 at Clark, the daughter of Lars and Brynhild Kloster. She passed away June 22,1983 at the Memorial Medical Center in Watertown following an extended illness.
The life long resident of Garfield Township of Clark county was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at Clark Center Church.
She married Nels Wika at the home of her parents in Garfield Township on December 29,1934.
Mrs Wika was a farm wife and homemaker. She was an active worker and devoted member of the Clark Center Church, the ALCW, and for many years served as a Sunday School teacher.
Survivors are her children, Glenn of Sioux Falls, Mrs Stan (Lois) Hankins of Albert Lea, MN, Joyce Thies of Ames, IA, Sylvia Mears of Los Angeles, CA, Norm and Alvin Wika of Clark, Maurice of DeSmet, Emmett of Raymond, Roy of North Platte, NE, Mrs Ralph (Mildred) Cochrane and Mrs Clifford (Orva) Schwartz of Clark, and Mrs Jack (Nora) Davis of Watertown, a brother, Walter Kloster of Clark; 38 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1979; two brothers, Gerhard and Leonard; and four sisters, Hilda Ness, Christine Hanson, Gladys Hernes and Bernice Mitchell.
