Janice Hargett

FULTON – Janice Marie Hargett, 89, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at The Meadows Nursing facility. She was born May 9, 1923, in Kenosha, Wis., to Tom and Josephine Rush. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton. Burial will be in the Castleberry Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Mike Hargett of Fulton; three daughters, Debbie Groth of Lombard, Ill., Sue Baron of Woodridge , Ill., and Nancy Fitzpatrick of Montana; two brothers, Tom Daggett of California and Jim Rush of Kenosha, Wis.; one sister, Beverly McPherson of Kenosha, Wis.; eight grandchildren, Kelli Graham, Chuck Baron, David Baron, Amy Eckman, Bev Harper, and Megan, Heather and Timon Fitzpatrick; two special great-grandchildren, Lauren Graham and Leah Graham, and several other great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson, Trentyn Crenshaw.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hargett, who died in 1990; an infant daughter; her parents; and two brothers, Wilbur Rush and Lloyd Kamin.

Pallbearers will be William Crenshaw, Roger Graham, Jonathan Christian and Dale White.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
