John F. Fisher, 88 of 6435 Orange Ave., Sacramento, a former Vallejo resident, died Wednesday after an extended illness. Mr. Fisher; a native of Louisville, Ohio, resided in Vallejo many years prior to moving to Sacramento two years ago.. He is survived by his widow, Laura Fisher, of Sacramento; two sons, Duncan Fisher, of Africa, and Charles Fisher, of Sutter creek; two daughters, Mrs. E. Louise Bandy and Mrs. Clara Fisher, both of Sacramento; a brother, Clem Fisher, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Jeffries, both of Cherokee, Okla.; 10 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. Two brothers preceded Mr. Fisher in Death.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday from the Wiggins Funeral Home, with rites conducted by the Rev. James Hulin, associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Entombment will follow in Abby of the Chimes.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 12 noon today.
