Photo of Oak Grove Cemetery
This marker honoring Oak Grove and surrounding area men who died during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam stands under the flagpole in the middle front of the cemetery. This monument is made of Georgia marble and was purchased from Sears Roebuck & Co. for $525. It was dedicated on Nov. 11, 1945 with 11 names. 400 people attended the dedication. The ground where the monument stands was donated by Frank M. Frick and the Sni-Mills school donated the flagpole.
