The following is a document found at the Jackson County Historical Society:
NEAR BERGEN JACOBSON CEMETARY by T.L. Meium
A place often used for burials in the Christiania Area before the Christiania Church cemetary (now Bethany [Lutheran ELCA]) was started, was a plot which became known as the Jacobson Cemetary. It was located on the Svend Moe and Ole Jacobson farm (Northwest 1/4 of Sect 28, Christiania Twp) The cemetary was started by the Moes and Jacobson's in the early 1870's, or before and became a burial place for many who resided in the area. Gravestones on it carry the names of Svend Moe (1815-1895) Joentha Moe (1815-1888) Gunhild Larson (1823-1905* Anna Johanna Jacobson, daughter of Ole and Melte Jacobson (1890) John E, Wold (1875) Nils Hansson Moe (1872) Nelius Hansson (1876).
Others reported buried on the Jacobson Cemetary are: Ole Thomassen Meium (1875) his wife Gjertru (1872), Guri Meium, first wife of Thomas Meium (1875) four children of Thomas and Guri Meium, Hanna Monson (1876), child of Ole Syverson (1876), Gudmund Syverson (1881), Julia Elness, (1882), Thore Larson (1881) Inger Stokke, Emily Swanholm, wife of Henry Swanholm and infant child, Carl Olson Civil War Beteran (1881). Very few were buried on this cemetary after the Christiania cemetary was started and it has been sadly neglected.

On 30 June 2014, I have added the names from the Meium list and will seek documentation to augment the meager information there.
