Box Elder County; UTAH
This knoll & hill is down the road from the "STANDROD CEMETERY." The Standrod Cemetery is along a well traveled dirt road, but is NOT "marked." The only identification for the Cemetery itself is a bright green gate with large green gate posts... if one reaches this hill with the name of "STANDROD" as seen here, they have passed the Cemetery a ways down the road.
The small community of Standrod, Utah is located behind this hill, and cannot be seen from the dirt road. Years ago, there were many Pioneers & Settlers who lived in the area... Standrod Cemetery is located a ways away from the settlement itself. This is a very historic place to see & the Cemetery looks as if one is going into a Farmer's field or "cow pasture." Standrod Cemetery is a very small Cemetery with approximately 65 marked graves in it... some do not have "dates" on the headstones, & there may be more burials within the Cemetery itself, in which are NOT marked.
