I have been researching my family history since I was a teenager. My father's four grandparents all came from different villages in Germany. I have found three of these villages and have been lucky enough to have visited two of the villages and met distance cousins. My mother's family has been in America since 1608 when Thomas Graves came to Jamestown in what is called the second supply. Mother's family is English, Irish, French and with some Germans.

I am also researching my husband family and my ex husband's family. I love being able to research from home on the internet. Thru the internet I have found more distance cousins researching the same lines. We cousins have been able to knock down brick walls; share information and some of us are not only cousins but are now friends.

Some of the names I am researching and willing to share information are: Seitz, Wiggers, Wiegers, Feick, Rohr, Oran, Orrand, Orum, Oram, Weedman, Nugent, Stone, Duggins, Hambleton, Rippito, Hall, Oliver, Bass, McKinney, Stephens, Pittman, Yeast, Corn, Baker, Mangold, Brocking, Polley, Price, Jenkins, Koenig and Grosch.

I am thankful for all of the hard work the contributors have done on Find a Grave. With Find a Grave I have been able to locate many graves that otherwise I would not of found or been able to visit the cemetery.
