| St. Louis Cathedral, New Orleans, LA, where my 6th-great grandfather, Claude Desbordes, was cantor & choirmaster in the 1740s (in an earlier building on this site), and my 8th-great grandfather, Pierre Thommelin, did some construction work in the 1720s. My Carriere, Langlois & Trepagnier ancestors were also some of the first settlers of New Orleans. |
