I am an Afro-American female, aged 53. I will be 54 (God willing) in December of this year. I have been a member of find-a-grave since 2001. The reason for this is because I do not drive a car and it makes it difficult to visit my parents graves as often as I would like, and I miss them (and my great-grandmother too). It's important for me to be a part of find-a-grave, so that I can express not only my love for my parents, but my sorrow for others who have made major contributions to society today and in the past, whether they are/were doctors, nurses 9/11 heroes and/or actors. Everyone has a station in life. Let it be a positive one, so that when we leave this world for eternity, we could leave a positive legacy.
