RE: Bronxville Cemetery
Hi Jeanne:

Thanks so much for your comments on my wall. I too am shocked that there are people out there that hoard their photos, and go so far as to post error messages on all of my photo requests.

Anyways, thanks for the offer to find that headstone for me. I believe there may be some other Landon family headstones there as well. I don't have any plot locations though, I am so sorry for that.

Regards,
Roz

Our Gwladys
Hello Jeanne
I'm very new to all this but you posted a photo of the grave stone Our Gwladys on the memorial page for Hamilton Lewis Jones. He was the husband of my grandfather's sister.I have made contact with ramosthome@charter.net who is related also.Putting the word "our" before a christian name was and still is a very northern expression in the UK.I think this gravestone relates to his firstborn child Frances Gwladys who I think died about age 7.I would be very grateful if you could enlighten me further.
Many thanks
Celia Staunton
(living not too far away from Liverpool where Gwladys's mother was born)

RE: Mary Gorman ....PS
It's OK to use the photo. The statement regarding the incomplete info on the site means, generally, that very old and very new info may be missing. Some records are probably lost (the cemetery is over 170 years old), and new records take time to be added. Mary Gorman is the only GORMAN in grave #173, but there may be relatives with other surnames. Only the cemetery staff can clarify that, as there is no stone to reveal the names.

RE: Shaughnessy
hi jeanne,
no the shaughnessy's are not my relatives. someone had put up a request in that area over the summer and all they gave was section 16 (i believe that was the section i was in). they have no kiosk in that cemetery so i just started to take photos of the headstones in a few rows. i believe i had taken something like 150 photos, which i am still uploading. the shaughnessy's were one of the ones i had taken that day. i wish i could help you further w/ your search but i don't have any info about them. i completely forgot to write down what there plot # was.
sincerely,
noreen
