Thank you Janice! I have followed up on your suggestions. Take care.

Thank you for your quick response! I knew John when he was about 16-18, somewhere in there. I lived in Orem and he lived in SLC, so we couldn't get together much. What I would like to know if you can remember is anything about his school stuff at Judge. Did he like school, was he athletic, school clubs, etc., just anything you can remember. I also would like to know anything else you can remember about his personality and his family. I did meet his mother. I wonder if he earned a Purple Heart??? Do you know if he was drafted into the Army? I am just trying to fill in the blanks and have wondered all these years. Thanks so much!

Janice, I am a friend of John's from high school. I knew he died in Viet Nam and am wondering if you would e-mail me so I could get more information regarding John. Thanks! Carolyn
Are you related to the Menghini name?--Garry

Is this your uncle?

Hi Janice - I want to respond so you know I can read. ;-) I can't really add to what Angela said below. I was there only once and I don't remember that particular gentleman. Joe

It may be in the next "column" over, a lot of them are set up that way here. I found one family that spanned three columns with two different styles of individual stones, there were nine of them, two of which I missed until I walked the row *behind* the family stone and figured it out. Did you want any of these transferred? I have no kin in the RS Cemetery, this is one of my GenWeb projects.
|Angela Cable||RE: photos|
I can absolutely guarantee you that that stone is indeed there. The flat stones surround the standing stone. It's the method I use with all family stones, I photograph it and then all the members of the family even if it messes up walking the rows.

I am grateful to you for sharing the photos of Glenn Andreotta. They certainly add considerable meaning to his site on findagrave.

Your comments are similar to those I heard from my family when my cousin was killed. So young, and so much of life missed. Thank you for your thoughts.
I would be pleased to take a photograph of your niece's headstone if you would like. Just let me know.
