I am new to this genealogy path. I love family history and have been researching lately the lineage of Walker/Hotalen and Kinney/Sprague of New Jersey.. Newton... Sussex... Sussex County... Pennsylvania...
I am the Great Granddaughter of:
Mary Alice Heater and Albert Edmond Hotalen
Mida Vail and Albert Puder Walker
AND
Edith Kelly and Clarence Sprague
Mary Ort and William Kinney
My father was the son of Russell Vail and Bessie Elizabeth (Hotalen) Walker; my mother was the daughter of Stanton William and Mabel Margaret (Sprague) Kinney.
What prompted me to start here, is the search for Heaters in Branchville.
When my mom passed away in March of 2014, her “lil black book of family information” was passed on to me. There is a LOT of informational notes... on BOTH sides.
It's amazing where the hours go when you start talking to family, reminiscing about Grand Parents, Great Grand Parents, etc. Just travel back in time...
