I have been a genealogist for 25 years or so, but because my father wrote a book on our Scottish ancestry.....and I married a man who was born in Toronto, but raised in Jamaica, West Indies...I started my research in Jamaica. If anyone has FIGUEROA or COOPER in their tree from Jamaica, let me know. I have 99% of them.My maternal grandmother was a SWACKHAMMER, married to a KENNY in the Halton and Guelph area. My maiden name was BOWNESS from Scotland and Prince Edward Island. I also have loads on LIDSTONES and TUPLINS from Devon who landed in PEI as well. As it is rather late, I will review this "short" bio later. If anyone needs help, I am happy to do so.
