|I have been researching both my family tree and my husband's family tree for a couple of years now. My lines include Klein, Darrah, Schmallen and Bergholte on my dad's side and Neubauer, Schaben, Heartel, Savage, Goeddertz and Wilde on my mother's side. |
My husband's tree includes Butcher, Saunders, Spooner, Hastings, Watson, Nichols, Sanborn and Flanders.

Good morning Tamara:
There was another grave for N Schmallen in the lot with Benard & Elizabeth. Death date of 9/1/1894. I did not find any marker or headstone for this individual. Block 1, Lot 25, Grave 4. Same GPS coordinates.
And there is a Nich Schmallen buried in another location in the cemetery. Block 6, Lot 30, Grave 2. GPS unknown at this time. Death date of 7/31/1900. I have not looked for a headstone or marker for this individual.
The other Schmallen's have memorials in Find A Grave. When I visit the local history center, I will look to see if there is a file on your great uncle and aunt.
The individuals buried in Block 3 are likely all infants or small children as that is what that section was designated for. Since there does not appear to be any other Schmallen's in Central Minnesota - at least not in Find A Grave, these other individuals are likely children of your great aunt and uncle.
Have a great weekend.

Hi! Will you please cancel your photo request if it is no longer needed?
To help others in the future, you may want to post that there is no grave marker and also add the burial plot. With how difficult this cemetery can be to obtain information, we need every bit of research posted that we can get. Thank you! Ace

|NH Amateur Genealogist||Thanks|
Thanks so much for the photo of Newell Herbert Hastings' headstone. I really appreciate all your time!
Tamara, I went back out and reshot the stone with better lighting...let me know what you think.

Hi! I posted pics for your Nicholas Klein request. I've also added pics for his sister Lena and his father Theodore. Their three stones are connected. See pics and note all captions. I've also created memorials for Theodore's parents, Barthel & Marthalena Klein and another son Jacob. All these family members appear to be in the same plot. Again, note the captions. I checked several census records and am fairly certain of those relationships. There are some date variances between memorials and stones but I did not submit edits. I can see where some dates came from census records. I also saw most of their names spelled several different ways. I'm sure you'd know better than me! Happy to transfer all to you if you'd like.
I also created and posted pic for a Mary Jeanette Klein in same cemetery. Not located near the above family. Says infant dau of F&J Klein. My guess is she might be dau of Frank & Jennie Klein who were also parents to Eleanor Klein Plesa born 1920. Seems like a possibility. Susan

|Wendy Nichols-Davis||RE: Bergholte's family|
After taking a picture of Eileen and Ralph's headstones, I went to all the other Bergholte's in the cemetery and took pictures of their headstones also, just in case they were related. I did not see any listing for an Ina or Eva. Would she have had the same last name of Bergholte? She is not listed in the cemetery archives as a Bergholte. I did not physically look at the surrounding headstones.

Thanks for your efforts to find his grave for me! I am sorry it took me so long to get back to you...I am usually much faster than that. in my defense, I thought I had already replied...blame lack of adequate coffee for the oversight. :)
I will try to hunt down more records of him.
I was at the Wheaton Cemetery office today and there is NO Rudolph Neubauer buried there as you put in a request for a photo. Hope you can find where he is located. Now you can delete that memorial from you records. Sorry I couldn't be any further assistance to you. Blessings.
