Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started researching my family history about twenty years ago, put it down for a few years and with the help of internet, my interest was revived. Thanks to being able to connect with all of you, I remain encouraged. A plan I have is to surprise my granddaughters with their family history, giving it to them for Christmas when they get a little older (like 40)!!!

My family is busy with their own interests so I spend much of my time riding horses: dressage, taking care of our three dogs and maintaining our home for family get-togethers.

RE: woodlawn cemetery requests
That's ok. Either way is fine. The difference is notification when a request is filled and credit for the one filling the request. If a request is made on find a grave the person making the request is automatically notified when it is filled. The one filing it gets credit for volunteer photos taken. Some people like to get the credit because of the time it takes to fill the request. For me, it doesn't matter except that sometimes I get busy and would forget to notify someone that I took the picture. I will be going up there either today or tomorrow so go ahead and post them. That way it is just one less thing for me to have to remember! :)

RE: woodlawn cemetery requests
Well this shouldn't take too long. Section E is not one of their larger sections and it looks like this is a relatively big family lot. The one in section T might take a little bit. It is supposed to be nice tomorrow and I am hoping to get up there to check on some other loose ends. Since you haven't made these, except for Harry, actual requests on Find a grave, I will let you know when they are posted OR if there is no stone for them.

woodlawn cemetery requests
You called the wrong Woodlawn cemetery. The one you want is in Elmira, NY not the one in Bronx. Here is the number you want: 607 732 0151. Nancy is quite helpful. She will give you the section and plot number. If you want to send the locations on to me, I will get up there and photograph them..if I can find them without a map. I have taken hundreds of photos in that cemetery and have lots of plots from old maps that help me find new ones.

I have William's photo as well. Would you please make that a separate request? Thank you.

RE: Grave: Halliday
I'm always glad to unite family members. Did you ask the creator of the memorials to transfer your parents to you? Most members don't have problems transferring to immediate relatives. I would love to read their personal stories. I will make a note to myself to check back later. And welcome to Find A Grave, I see you are a new member.
