Bio Photo i am an avid nut when it comes to the history of the civil war -- ever since I was able to read back in kindergarten - I was fascinated by history -- I never really got into this find a grave thing until 2013 when I accidently stumbled on the grave of general George meade here in philly pa where is buried across from the schukill river at laurel hill cemetery --

RE: finda grave civil war vets
Best thing to do is Google their names and see if there is any info on them. That is all I cam really suggest.

RE: grave
They are buried in a mass grave and a bronze placard on the burial site. I have done an overview photo, but not each individual name. I do have a cemetery book with the soldiers buried there. Would you like a copy of that?

RE: know that area
I love the old remote cemeteries--it's so rewarding to find them... and so important to document them.

happy holidays!

RE: the hiddenburg
There is a monument on the crash site on the Lakehurst NAS site. To my knowledge, none of the victims are buried there. The bodies of the German crew members were all returned to Germany with great fanfare and covered in newspapers and magazines of that time (LIFE, NEWSWEEK, TIME etc). You can probably get a list thru a GOOGLE search.

OK. I see the problem...the add photo link is turned off.

RE: general lee
Thanks for writing...

That statue on General Lee's grave is quite famous, but you should get credit for posting it. You can simply add it, though, since he's already in the famous section, it will have to be approved by a Find a Grave administrator.

Blessings,

Bob
