RE: Christian HARTUNG
Christian Harting and Elizabeth Werntz are my Gt Gt Gt Grandparents.

My father (deceased, who did much of the genealogy) has a folder I can dig out later. For his notes on Christian Harting and his wife Elizabeth Werntz he has:

!BIRTH-DEATH: AF; ; LDS Church; (AFN:1GST-T7)

!BIRTH-SPOUSE: 1860 Federal Census, Borough of Strasburg, Lancaster County, PA; 1860; roll 1125, page 785.

OCCUPATION: Laborer, Tailor.

For a picture of their daughter, my Gt Gt Grandmother, see Find A Grave Memorial# 37968427

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 70852817 and 70852829
Hi; I had Neil, the local Civil War buff look him up, and he did not find any record of him in the civil war. I also looked for his obituary and it was not available on the Reading Eagle newspaper archives. So, it looks like we're back to square one. I'll keep trying different sources to see if I can find anything on his relatives, tho. Sorry, I came up empty this time.
