Born in Elkhart, Indiana, (usa) in 1950; attended Osolo Elementary and Jr. High, then graduated from EHS in 1968. Honorably discharged from USN as a conscientious objector during Vietnam era -- American military personnel are still dying for reasons other than the protections of our freedoms -- and now living near Shreveport, Louisiana.|
note: If you might ever happen to notice, find or see the gravesite of one or more of these Vietnam Casualties & Veterans with unknown burial sites in the northwestern Louisiana area, please let me know. None of the usual sources offer any records of those burial sites, and not all cemeteries have accurate records of past burials.
Beginning with certain schoolmates and others from my home county, my overall goals here are to help assure people are not forgotten and for future generations to be able to find glimpses of ancestors, friends, fellows and others.
I gladly make corrections, edits and transfers whenever asked, and I typically transfer new memorials to someone already managing similar memorials if no family manager is available. My photos are not professionally processed, and my permission to do with them as you wish is granted.
As often as possible, I stand with other Louisiana Patriot Guard Riders in quiet remembrance, honor and respect...

I looked everywhere. There are maybe 100 plots and most of them are missing headstones. They only have a clear tag marker which are missing the paper that goes inside. Unfortunately, this small and unkempt cemetery is in very bad shape. Some headstones have sunk under ground and some are covered by heavy brush. It was sad... Glad I could help you though.
