Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am very interested in genealogy. I got into researching shortly after my grandmother, Frances Elizabeth Vines McCraw, passed away. I wanted to know everything I could about her life. The stories I was too young to remember. I want to be able to pass my family history down. I take my hobby very seriously and I'm always looking for new information. Feel free to email me with questions or information on the McCraw, Cowen/Cowan, Vines of Jefferson county, Alabama or Robbins, Fitzhugh, Craig, Coward of rankin county, Mississippi. Searching for indian relations as well.

Wiley Robbins
Unfortunately, I am unable to link Wiley Robbins to his family, as I didn't create his memorial. Send a request to Mimosa (#46875181)to attach him to his parents. Once that has been completed, he will automatically be linked to his brother, Dempsey Robbins.

RE: Dawson vines
My g-grandfather Jsmes (Little Jim) Vines had 7 children: Andrew Burns, Elisha B. James Thomas, Louise, Caldonia, James (Jimmy) Edmond (my grandfather) and Calvin. My grandfather Jimmy and his 1st wife, Missouri Taylor, had 3 children: Rosie, Lula Mardula and Clarence. Missouri left him and the children for his nephew Robert Vines, the son of his brother Andrew Burns. My grandfather then married Nettie Irene King Quinn, my grandmother, and they had 8 children: Pearl Florence, Edward Clanton (my dad), Ormand Earl, Naomi Phyllis, James Thurman, Charles Franklin, Aubrey Clifton, and Margaret Elizabeth. My dad and mother married (although the marriage didn't last) and had 2 girls: me and my sister Sandra who died in 2011. I grew up in Mulga, AL,went to Minor HS, and came to visit my mother in Demopolis, AL, met and married my husband Frank and have been here ever since. In fact, I will be coming to Rock Creek tomorrow for the funeral of my cousin Wendy Elmore, the daughter of my 1st cousin, Jimmy Johnston. Have a good day. Sylvia Malone
