My name is Jerry "Todd" Barnes I have been the Supervisor of Cemeteries for the City of Asheboro for more than 20 years.|
I was helping Find A Grave Members for many years before coming a member and making my Mother a memorial page. If anyone wants a family members memorial page just ask! I'm here to find my family and record all the info I have here with the city, which is Asheboro city cemetery, Oaklawn and Mt. Calvary. I hope to have every memorial with a section, plot and grave number then you can go to the city web page and find the cemeteries maps and find the grave you want!
I'm trying to tie all the Barnes and Lucas families to me if anyone can help i would love it!
Thanks and if anyone needs info about the city cemeteries please E-mail me at email@example.com and I will respond ASAP
Thank you for all the work you do!

I found little James listed here: (http://www.cemeterycensus.com/nc/rand/cem005l.htm) Hal's wife, Mattalene, died Oct 15, 1970 and is buried at OAK GROVE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Hal is buried beside her. So Hal bought 4 graves at Oak Grove not Oaklawn. Little James died August not October. You have your dates and cemeteries confused. Since no one has posted a photo of Little James' grave at Oaklawn, I assume it is no longer marked.

Thank you so much for the headstone photo of Paul & Hannie. It is very much appreciated. Have a blessed day.
|Dorothy Eckert||John Wilson|
Thank you for submitting the picture of John Wilson's grave site. I found the death certificate
showing that he died of a homicide, gun shot to the head. I have not been able to find any more information on his death. There does not seem to be any newspaper articles. Do you happened to know if it was self inflicted, accidental or if he was shot by a family member?
Again, thank you for taking the time for the photo.
