Have my Peck line back to the 1100s, have stayed mostly on the direct line, have branched out a bit from it. |
Peck line in America starts with Deacon William Peck in 1638 New Haven Colony; present day Sate of Connecticut. This Peck line one of three main Peck lines in America. Two of the three lines may be related, but no definitive evidence as yet.
Many Pecks scattered throughout history in notable ways and in hundreds of books.
I'll update this after thinking about this and looking through research files.
Happy to help anyone I can with anything I can.

You're quite welcome! I've been showing my research to my mother too! She's really enjoying it! We are both finding out things that neither of us knew that's really interesting! This stuff is so addicting! :D

|Linda Cunningham||RE: A few research papers I have you may want.|
Good afternoon Don:
Yes, that would be great. I would be interested in anything on the Morley ancestors.

For siblings, only the findagrave system can add those. It may take a few days for them to appear, please be patient

And a Happy 4th of July to you, too. I am not sure where you live. I live in Clay County, Kansas. Yesterday I spent a few hours in Abilene researching Morley information at the Trinity Lutheran Church where Maria & James Morley attended and then at the Dickinson County Historical Center (just east of the Eisenhower Center). I got some good information from both, but nothing more on Kate (Morley) Peck. The year she died there are no newspapers on micro film to be found. They even checked the State lending library for micro film for area newspapers. But, I have not given up.

I will retain the sites for Bruce Peck and his wife. For your information, find a grave rules require I only have to transfer for your brother/sister, parents, grandparents & great grandparents. I have already transferred several sites that I was not required to transfer, one being George Peck the father of Bruce Peck. I also have the site of Eliza Morley Peck's mother, Maria Palmer Morley who is buried in Abilene Cemetery. That site will not be transferred. Richard

Thank you, I will check on the newspaper clippings. I found Maria Morley's obit looking thru the Abilene newspaper on microfilm at the library. I could look at that for an obit on Kate Morley next time I am in Abilene, too.
Have a great weekend.
