|Kerry G||Thomas Bewsy Holmes, Jr.|
Hi Charles. I have a memorial for Gladys Agnes McGinnis Holmes. I was doing a little research on her to fill in information and found she was married to Thomas Bewsy Holmes, Jr. (Tom Holmes on the certificate) on 16 Nov 1924 in Jefferson County, Texas. They later moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and are shown on the 1930 census living there with her brother (listed as Mark A. Ginnis). They also appear in several city directories for Oklahoma City through about 1936. The 1940 census for Jefferson County, Texas shows Gladys Agnes Holmes as divorced but states in 1935 her residence was Oklahoma City. This all ties together. Anyway, if you are interested in a transfer of Gladys McGinnis Holmes, just ask. I have linked her as a spouse on your memorial.

One is the one you created, the other was transferred to you. Go to the one you created and click delete in the upper right hand corner. You can only delete ones you created. Only admins can delete it if someone else created it. All of that said, it's easier to just "click' on delete and remove the one you created. Just make sure you have all of the information you need from it. I was trying to link to one of them, and that's how I found them both. Thank you for responding, and let me know if you can't find the delete tab.

This memorial also appears to be listed twice.

161481902 is a duplicate. One of them should be deleted. When you have a moment, could you look at it?

I would love to get in contact with her family and her mother Helen was married to my fathers brother Francis Johnson. I believe she is a cousin. Thank you for any assistance you might be able to provide.

Transfers to direct family within 4 generations. It is stated on my profile page.

Yes, Bonnie Irene Bandy (Irene Ray) was my dad's half-sister, their mother being Alloma Bandy. My Dad was Earl Fretwell from Alloma's first marriage to Lovic Fretwell.
I didn't know Irene really well, having grown up in Montana, but she was a very special person, wanting me to know all about my Dad's family. She sent me several pictures which are on my family tree on Ancestry.com. It's under Carroll-Fretwell-Dreidlein. I wish I knew more about her. I don't have the date of her death. Maybe you could fill me in. Her son, Bobby Gene, was MIA in Vet Nam. I met him in San Diego when he first joined the Navy and I was a shy teen. She died never knowing what happened to him. Very sad. Would like to know more about her if you are so inclined. Thanks.
