My name is Oma and new to Findagrave.|
Money left on military grave markers:
Penny: Leaving a penny at the grave means simply that you visited.
Nickel: A nickel indicates that you and the deceased trained at boot camp together.
Dime: A dime means you served with the deceased in some capacity.
Quarter: By leaving a quarter at the grave, you are telling the family that you were with the solider when the deceased was killed.

FYI: If you see a flower, I have usually sent information to the original contributor for updating a memorial. Some people I have newly found add information and appear to take ALL the credit!
Distant relatives include: Gann, Goddard, Hatfield, Hearne, Russell

Thank you so much for taking the photos I requested at Ft Bliss Cemetery. You did a great job and honored our veterans and their family members.

Hello - I was looking at your photo request for Middleton Cemetery because I am going to be there soon with a couple of my cousins. Our great grandparents are buried there and I thought I'd check photo requests.
Hebron is a different cemetery altogether...but it is located in/near Middleton, TN. We have a couple of very distant relatives buried there and we may get there, as well, depending on how long we spend at the others in the area. I will be happy to check there for you.
If the headstone was to be delivered to Hebron, that's most likely where your family member was buried. Sometimes the most accurate info is not always provided on the death certificate depending upon who is providing it.

On second thought I'm guessing that you just meant to link her to her parents? I found them at Woodson Cemetery and linked them.

Sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean that you found Myrtle in Comanche with her family. Did you find a duplicate memorial? (If so, would you please send me a link so that I can work on getting it fixed?) Or did you mean census records? She isn't a relative of mine, but I would be happy to add any useful information.

That will be fine as I have not contacted my cousin about the memorial. Let's see what findagrave does. Thank you. Susan

I didn't even notice that their are two memorials for him. The first one was actually made by one of my cousins. The one that I made does include links to most of his siblings and his parents. I may just e mail my cousin and see if she would just delete the first memorial. I can transfer management to her if she would like. Thank you for noticing. Susan
