Bio Photo I have always enjoyed walking through cemeteries and looking at old grave stones. I am a History major and I enjoy all phases of history, and I enjoy digging around my family tree in my spare time.

Robinsons
Tim,
Have found some things about John J. and children. The Gartrell family is well known throughout Georgia; found several articles on them. Found some info on children of John J. and Selina, especially the boys. This has inspired me; can't believe I have so many cousins. One of boys was named Joseph Elisha Robinson; how nifty as it is same name as my g-grandfather, and gg-grandfather.

Tim,
Thanks for note and date of death. Tell me how and from whom you descend; that is, when you have time.
Have great weekend.

Robinsons
Tim,
You have introduced me to a member of family I didn't know anything about until now. I've already found a little about him on ancestry but send me what you have for sure. It's saying he died 1933 White Co., Ga.; is this correct? Thank you so much for calling this to my attention. He (John J.) would be my gg-grand -uncle, brother of my gg-grandfather, Elisha Miller Robinson, II.

Robinsons
Hello Tim,
Thank you for your note. Are you by any chance a member of ancestry? I have a public tree on there with Robinson info. My g-grandfather was Elisha Miller Robinson, III 1863-1939, b Blount Co., Ala., d B'ham, Ala., married Leila Wetona Prince. He was s/o Elisha Miller Robinson, II, & 2nd wife, Nancy Elizabeth Duncan. He was half-brother to the children of Elisha's first marriage to Emily Caroline Stamper. I'll look and see what I have in the tree. I'm sketchy on the info for the Chattooga Robinsons but would love more. Do you know our cousin, Carolyn (Graham) LOPEZ? She grew up in Chickamauga, Ga., and is connected to our Robinsons in the Ringgold, Dalton, Chickamauga areas. I am in touch with her at times. Would love to share info and am thrilled to hear from a cousin. My father was Thomas Robinson Banks b 1913 B'ham, d 1965 Orlando; was called "Robin" all his life.
