Bio Photo I was born and brought up in New York City and came to Ohio to study city planning at OSU. Have stayed here since, and am now a consultant in Westlake, part of the Cleveland metro area. I had a sister who died and is buried in Maine, leading to my searching Find a Grave for her location.

Hi, I have a book on cemeteries in Hancock County, Maine, especially the Bar Harbor areas, ect. I believe it was published in 1999, so these were the directions of the cemetery as of then: :)

Location. East of Routes 102/198, north of intersection of Route 3 and Routes 102/198. UTM: 19T 0557311, 4906737; Lat./Long.: N 4418′41.9″ x W 6816′53.0″

Directions: From the intersection of Routes 3 and 102/198 at the north end of Mount Desert Island, go straight ahead (south) onto Routes 102/198. In approximately 4.24.3 miles, at the traffic light at the intersection of Routes 102/198 and Route 198, turn left on Route 198. Travel about 5.25.3 miles on Route 198 to the intersection (on the left) with the Gatehouse Road, immediately after (south of) the Brown Mountain gate lodge. Turn left onto this road. Continue straight ahead to the cemetery; do not follow the Gatehouse Road where it turns to the right in less than 0.1 miles.

Hi, :)

I'm sorry but I don't know. Your sister's name was listed in a book I have of cemeteries in Mount Desert. Over the years I have been trying to collect books that have burial records all over Maine because I am a Maine resident.

I hope you find it. :)
