My interest in genealogical research developed when I moved to Ft Lauderdale 12 years and started researching the history of my grandmother's best friend, Lucile Quinn Van Dresser, a colorful early settler here. With all the history I uncovered about her, which was fascinating and led me to interesting places like Santa Fe NM and Solebury PA, I was sadly never able to locate her gravestone, supposedly here in Ft Lauderdale.
So I am happy to help with photo requests for this service, eager to help other families in their own search for their loved ones' gravestones. I know how much it means.

Aldean Spahr
Good morning Valerie,
Thank you for the time-consuming effort you put forth to locate Aldean's headstone/marker. If I had known the problems you would encounter, I would not have requested the photo. Have a wonderful day and keep up the good work.

re: Thomas and Patricia McAdam
Thanks for the grave photos of Thomas and Patricia. You have the photo for Thomas on Patricia's memorial by mistake, can you delete it and change it over to Thomas's memorial? Thanks for all your hard work. I really appreciate it. donna white

RE: re: Patricia and Thomas McAdam
I have posted the pic for his grave marker on his memorial on here. He is linked to her as a spouse. I am guessing that if there is a grave marker, that it might be the same style, but I don't know for sure if there is a marker for her or not. I think she should be beside him, though. I know it is difficult to find graves, even with a map sometimes.donna

RE: Dean McCollough Gravesite
Please don't go to a lot of trouble I know about this kind of cemetery having taken some photos in very rural areas. I thank you for all your time and effort in my behalf. Alice

Yes, I am judging he would be buried in the veterans area because his burial was listed in veterans gravesites. He was a CPL in the Marine corps in Korea and I am guessing again because he is listed in the veterans gravesites that he would have a military marker and that is why the listing is there. Thanks for everything. Alice

I found a gravestone pic for Thomas McAdam on ancestry.com and have posted it and taken off the request for him. I still do not have a pic of her gravestone though. I don't know if seeing the pic of his gravestone style would help you or not..Hers might be a similar style.donna

Dean McCollough Gravesite
Thank you so much for trying to find the grave of Mr. McCullough. I am sure he must be buried in this cemetery somewhere because my information came from U.S. Veteran's gravesites which said:

Dean R. McCullough, CPL US Marine Corps Korea; 1 Apr 1931-28 May 1999; Burial Lauderdale Memorial Park, 2001 S.W. 4th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315

I do appreciate your efforts though and understand the problem. I am sorry to of put you to so much trouble.
