I live in Southwest Missouri and have been involved in research for many years. It is a very consuming hobby as most know when they get involved. I cherish my heritage and wish to preserve it for my descendants. I have had much help along the way and hope to return the favor when I can. I think that is called, "paying it forward."

My main reason for being here is to locate my family and that of my husband. I also wish to add and clarify information to memorials from my genealogical research through the years. But, I also am interested in adding information to other memorials that I have information about. I am willing to try to help anyone that I can with such information.

My main focus is Keith, Baumgardner [and variations of the name], Henson, Piper, Hocker, Fox, Kennon, Phillips, Tomblin[son] and other collateral lines.

I have put up some pictures and will share them, but please, ask my permission instead of just lifting them and using them on other sites---that is not nice. Please respect my wishes.

RE: Stephen Sallee Seamster m. Minerva Jane Peak
From my brother-in-law Jones Webb and wife Evelyn Webb. Webb Genealogy done in 1978. See my husband's grandparents Everett Harrison Webb m. Marinda Helen Seamster # 133646821.
They were married by her uncle Lou Piper who was married to one of her mother's Peak sister's.
Would Lou Piper be John Lewis Piper that served with Stephen Sallee Seamster in Civil War-Confederacy?

RE: Stephen Sallee Seamster m. Minerva Jane Peak
Please refer to Stephen Sallee Seamster Find A #8991159 m. Minerva Jame Peak. Many old pictures came down in my husband's Webb-Garner side and the above couple was my husbands (Jake Dale Webb) great grandparents through his grandmother Marinda Helen Seamster Webb. I was hoping you might have more information on Minerva Jane Peak Seamster her mother?
Confederate sympathizers during the Civil War.
Like many families in Missouri during the Civil War
families split Union-Confederate and this is one of them. Everett Harrison Webb's father William C. Webb served in Union regiment from Missouri.
Any information you might have would be interesting to me.

They were my husband Jake Dale Webb's great grandparents if I remember correctly. I believe I have a picture of them.
They had daughter Marinda Helen Seamster married Everett Harrison Webb. Son Otis Linzy Webb was my father-in-law. Picture of Marinda H. Seamster Webb hung on the wall for years in Otis and Edna Webb's home in Sebastopol, Sonoma Co., CA.

Hello Darlene
We live in Nebraska. Don't want to give more information since we recently had our Find A Grave information and e-mail address hacked into, so we have removed all our information and we delete our messages right away. But it is always great to meet cousins.

Hello Darlene
My line is also Albert & Ellen (Beason) Dixon.
I have traced the Beason family back four generations with many documents. I am related through the Joseph Beason line also when two first cousins married. Joseph was Ellen's brother. I have the Dixon line back to 1633 to 1991. But because I do not know where many are buried or the location of the grave because no cemetery stone has been found I cannot link them on Find A Grave.
Two cousin's wrote books on the Beason, Gannaway and Dixon families which helped me locate many of the documents needed to trace these families.

I have both the Beason 1850 Bible and the Dixon 1860 Bible. So I have death dates but no burial locations.
Welcome to Find A Grave.

Hello Darlene
You wrote me the following Edit.

Jacob Dixon is my husband's gr. gr. grandfather. Would you mind transferring his memorial to our care and keeping. We would appreciate it so much. Thanks for all you do to perpetuate historical info for families. Darlene Keith Find A Grave#48436457.

I am sorry but Jacob Dixon is my 3rd great grandfather and I do not wish to part with his memorial. Thank you.
