RE: Grandparents
Sorry Richard but I've had to work with over 50,000 names in the last 15 years and I have no clue as to who they are. I can say the same thing about 99.5% of the other people I've researched. I read their obituaries, wrote them down in my book, transcribed them to another book, logged them into my computer and finally made a memorial to them. That's just for the database. For Find-a-grave I took over 25,000 photographs of every headstone in all 11 cemeteries around Mount Carmel. Then I had to link the people with the headstone pictures before I could make a memorial. For all those "Lost Little Angels" & "Lost Angels" that do not have a headstone, I am now logging them in with over 1300 of those already logged into Find=a=grave. These memorials are the toughest to do because it takes me roughly 15 minutes to do just one of those memorials. I have worked on these projects 7 days a week, spending sometimes as many as 12 to 16 hours a day for the past 15 years. I just wanted you to understand why I know very little about the people I work with. Had you asked me about them right after I read their obituary I may have been able to help you Richard but i could have read that obituary 10 years ago. Sorry I am of little help to you but keep on searching like I am for my great great grandparents. Sincerely, Robert Miller

Off hand I'm not sure. Do you have their obituaries? If not, you could try looking at my obituary database which can be found on the Mount Carmel Public Library's website. If they're not on there, the United States Census that covers the year they were born may be of help but that's a long process. The Pennsylvania Record of Vital Statistics in Harrisburg is also another place you can look. That will only work tho if you know they actually were born in Pennsylvania. At least you have a year to work with, many people don't even have that and I was one of those who spent 15 years looking for my great grandparents and only found them but accident. I'm still at a dead end looking for my great great grandparents. So good luck on your search. Sincerely, Robert Miller

Richard, while working on my memorials I noticed you left a flower for your grandparents. Since i like to keep families together, please accept their memorials. Treat them well, for they are a part of your family's history. Sincerely, Robert Miller
