RE: sara bell todd
Thank you for writing and for your nice comment. I spent a lot of time on that issue when in KY. Sarah Frances (Morton) Todd was a sister of my ancestor, James Quinn Morton. Do you have a family connection to Mortons or Todds?

Thanks again,

Eversole - Gill - Dees
Hi Martha, Might you be related to any of these families, or might you know who keeps the records for Rogers Cemetery in Morrill?
I believe that Nancy Jane Dees-Gill (1836-1918) is buried there but we don't know how to verify this. Please, if you have any information regarding these families please contact me asap because my family and I are planning a trip to Ky. to search our ancestors.
Kindest regards,
Joyce Mackey

John Dillon Columbia
Coyle Cemetery Location
Hi! My name is John and I am having a very, very difficult time trying to find the Coyle Cemetery in Estill County. I've been twice and have spent hours driving up and down the road where it is and still can't find it. I asked help of a local man and he pointed me in the right direction, and I still couldn't find it (though I finally located Kissey Branch Road- I missed it the first and most of the second time I was there because the sign was crooked and I didn't see it). I drove up and down the road that Beaver Pond Christian Church is on and I went down some different roads and then I stopped and asked for help and them pointed me to Kissey Branch Road and I was thinking I was so dumb that I'd been passing it up all this time, anyway, he said to pass a red brick house and another white abandoned home, and I did and I still couldn't see it.

Could you offer any advice or help?

RE: Congleton-Wood Cemetery
I'm not sure if I replied to your request or not. My husband and I recently located the Congleton-Wood Cemetery located in Fox. I have also listed these directions on the cemetery page for future researchers. It was not easy to locate. It took us several trips up and down the road and talking to individuals on the road to locate the cemetery.

Cemetery notes and/or description:
This cemetery is located on a private farm at 900 Lock 11 Road in Fox. Travel New Fox Road to Lock 11 Road. Turn left. It is located .093 mile on the right at 900 Lock 11 Road. There is a large pond on the property with the home sitting back behind the pond on a hill. The cemetery is not visible from the road. It is located to the right of the gravel drive shortly before reaching the family home. Please seek permission before entering the cemetery.

I hope this helps. I also posted the gravestone pics I was able to find and were readable.

Alvie Fishburn #29494367
You sent an edit to link him to William Fishburn as father. While it would not be unusual to have a father who was abt 56 years old at the birth of a child, it would be to have a mother that age. Would you please re-check? All the other children of William (per his memorial 108346168)were born between 1854 and 1867, so Alvie would have been born 20 or so years later. None of his siblings in Alvie's obit match up to any of the other children of William, either. ?? Please advise.

RE: Mandy
Thank you for the condolences. Mandy and I were very close, she was 2 years older than I was. She contracted leukemia and passed away from it. Our grandfather was Audie Clements and our grandmother was Edna Clements, I am not sure about her mothers side, I think it was Clark, but I will find out. The Clements family is from Casey county. my profile shows my grandfather, my great grandfather Silas Clements and his wife Mary. I listed pictures on my profile so check it out. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
