RE: Sharkey Cemetery
Thank you for letting me know. That is interesting.
One occasionally sees brothers whose names are spelled differently (like the Bahm/Baham family of Tangipahoa Parish), but husband and wife is unusual.
I did recently run across Cynthia Ellen Fowler Barnes Walker Creel GALLOW in Amite Cemetery. Her last husband spelled his name Edward Charles GOWLER, but Cynthia preferred GALLOW. That is however an actual choice that Cynthia made.
I wonder who made the call to put an "a" in Alice Golm*n's last name? Probably it was just an accident - but it does appear both on the tombstone and in the newspaper.
I have a g-g-uncle who spelled his name wrong on his Social Security Application. He was obliged to stick with the wrong spelling thereafter.

Alice Golman - Sharkey Cemetery
I do not do cemeteries on private property, like Sharkey; it will be interesting when someone does go there and photograph the tombstones to see if Herman and Alice do in fact, in stone, have their names spelled differently.
Until then, I hope this information might be useful.

Golmon Family
Gloria,
I only know of one Roberts Cemetery in Pike Co.
I don't know that I can help much. My line is Davis Harrison Golmon. There were some stones that I could not read. Do you have a cemetery list for this cemetery. If you don't I can get a copy for you from the library.

RE: Golmon Photos
Hi, Gloria

I do not attend this church. I was there for a funeral. I don't know anyone at this church.

Sincerely yours,
Larry
