Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up and attended school in Edwardsville, Illinois. Worked at Granite City Steel in the Cold Strip and Storeroom. My wife & some other relatives think it strange that I like to visit cemeteries. That makes a good fit for me.
Family names I'm most interested in are; Garde, Bethel, Schwalb,Van Bussum, Sheehy, Paul, Pierce, Massey, Siebuhr and offshoots

This is Find A GRAVE....not Find A Family Tree.

Direct quote from Find A Grave guidelines which are found in the "Help with Find A Grave" section on the left of your screen:

"How do I add a memorial when I'm not sure what cemetery they are buried?
This is similar to adding a memorial for cremation. Do not create a new cemetery which does not exist in order to add these memorials. Use the ... location of body unknown option. Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days."

Elizabeth Meade
P.S. Her parents have been listed in the bio all along.

I've written a note with the edit rejections every time (I believe this was at least the 3rd time you've sent the same edit) that I don't link to unknown burial memorials more than 30 days old, as they are posted against Find A Grave guidelines.

Duplicate Memorial
You have a duplicate memorial for Eleanor J. Landers Collman. Yours was made 2 days after the other one. So would you be so kind as to remove it. You can ask the other person to transfer to you.The memorial is in Brown cemetery, Old Ripley.
Thank you

Great to hear from you! It is indeed a fascinating story about Robert Milton Layson. In answer to your question, I do have the names of Margaret Carr Steele documented, and have two approved lineages on her line back to the American Revolution. Send me your email address and I will forward you my phone number. Perhaps we can chat on the phone some evening. Let me know when would be good for you and maybe we can find a time to talk.
